Finish Line Video Contest Sponsored by Alaska Airlines Announced!

We are so excited to announce the final component to this year’s Virtual Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon, the Finish Line Video Contest! Here are the rules:

1. Entrants must be a registered participant of the 2020 Virtual Kauai Marathon or Half Marathon to enter. Participation will be verified at raceentry.com.
2. Entrants can only submit one video to the contest.
3. The video can be no longer than 30 seconds in length, or it will not be considered as an entry.
4. Submissions may be entered from September 1, 2020 until 11:59pm HST on September 7, 2020.
5. Email the video to [email protected].
6. Please include the following:
   • First and Last Name
   • Phone Number
   • Video Submission (Please click here for a tutorial on how to upload your video to gmail.)
7. Be creative and unique, the zanier the better!
8. A panel of judges from The Kauai Marathon team will review all of the videos and choose the top 5 based on a number of criteria.
9. The top 5 selected videos will be announced and the public will vote for the winner online.
10. (1) One winner will receive (2) round trip tickets on Alaska Airlines from the West Coast of the United States to Hawaii. Tickets are valid until September 20, 2021. Rules and blackout dates apply.
11. The Kauai Marathon is not responsible for any videos that do not upload properly.
12. The Kauai Marathon has the right to use, reproduce, reprint, distribute, perform, and/or display the entrant’s video without further compensation or notification to the entrant.
13. The Kauai Marathon maintains the right to reproduce, reprint, distribute, perform, display, or exhibit the video for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes on their website, social media, or other venues.
14. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to hold The Kauai Marathon and Alaska Airline’s harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of such prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused from participation in the contest or use/redemption of any prize.
15. Entrants must agree to these rules and the decisions of the judges.
