The Wilcox Health Sports and Fitness Expo opens its doors at The Grand Hyatt Kauai Grand Ballroom at 10am on Friday, August 29th. Race packet pickup is available until 6pm. The full and half marathon will sell out so register early! Marathon logo merchandise is available alongside several other active lifestyle vendors from Kauai, Hawaii, and the Mainland on hand to share their products and services.

Saturday is a very busy day! We kick off with the 15th Annual Fun Run at 7:30 am. The Fun Run begins at the end of Poipu Road, just past the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. This is a 3-mile run that is led by Kauai Marathon champion Tyler McCandless. Please park in the designated event parking lot on the left at the end of Poipu Road. Next, the 12th Annual Kauai Marathon Keiki Run presented by Wilcox Health begins on the far west side of the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa at 9:00 am. Each participant is guaranteed a medal and t-shirt if they pre-register by August 15th. The races start at 9am. There is a 100-yard toddler trot for 2-4 year olds, a quarter-mile run for 5-7 year olds and a half-mile run for 8-12 year olds. The Wilcox Health Sports and Fitness Expo continues Saturday, opening at 9am with opportunities for race packet pick-up until 4:00 pm. The full and half marathon will sell out and we will not have same day registrations.

Finally, the main event! The 16th Annual Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, August 31st beginning at 6am on Poipu Road and ends oceanfront at the Koloa Landing Resort. The marathon finisher’s party and awards ceremony begins at 8am. Race participants and supporters can enjoy food, refreshments, and live entertainment until the early afternoon.
