This year’s Kauai Marathon and Half Marathon begins at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, on Poipu Road. However, please note, the start corral has moved slightly.
Instead of lining up in front of Koloa Landing Resort, runners will now start at the entrance of Poipu Beach Athletic Club (2290 Poipu Road, across from Kiahuna Plantation). Start line amenities like toilets, water, snacks and gear check remain nearby at Poipu Shopping Village beginning at 4:30am; plan to be in the corral by 5:30 a.m. Last shuttles from the Grand Hyatt typically leave at 5:00 a.m. Poipu Road closes at 5:15am, so plan for extra time for parking and drop-off.
