The Shops at Kukui‘ula celebrates the 10th Annual Kaua‘i Marathon on Labor Day weekend with celebratory events and premier shopping and dining experiences.

Visit the Kaua‘i Culinary Market on Wednesday, August 29th, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm to stock up on fresh veggies and seasonal fruits by local farmers while sampling artisanal products and savoring local treats, all in an outdoor “pau hana” environment with live Hawaiian music by Kaua‘i artists. Plus, don’t miss a special cooking demonstration by Eating House 1849 Executive Chef Clinton at 5:00pm at the Palm Court.

Then, start the marathon weekend at Kauai’s largest family-friendly pau hana party, Flavors of Kukui‘ula, on Friday, August 31st, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and experience an evening of culinary treats served up “street food” style, various refreshments and live music performances by Saving Cadence and the one-and-only Greenstone Project. Participating restaurants include Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Merriman’s Fish House, TR Cantina, The Dolphin Restaurant, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Living Foods Gourmet Market & Café and The Lanai Restaurant, all serving up culinary delights on small plates for purchase.
